Entropy Log — Game Guide

Entropy Log is a real-time geopolitical strategy overlay. Viewers claim nations, inject empire reserve through chat to fight universal entropy, upgrade attack/defense/naval tiers, and resolve invasions through live chat tug-of-war battles.

Entropy & empire reserve

Entropy is the destructive force on the map: each turn cycle applies entropic decay to every empire — a debit for holding and expanding territory. Chat votes and Super Chats inject order into the system as empire reserve, the net balance shown on stream. Leaders spend reserve on attacks and upgrades; if reserve hits zero, bankruptcy can release tiles.

Empire reserve

The accumulated resource in the header counter and the Empire reserve panel ranks who injected the most order this session (net after debits). Typing a country ISO in chat adds reserve to that country; supporting an occupied tile adds to its empire without changing the leader.

Entropic decay

At the end of each leader’s turn cycle, the map applies entropic decay: an automatic subtraction scaled by how many territories the empire holds (larger / more annexes cost more). The header shows the upcoming decay for the active empire. Reserve from chat counteracts this drain; inactivity penalties can add extra decay when chat goes quiet.

3-tier military tech tree

Each turn the leader (or chat autopilot) picks an action. Upgrades persist for the empire until the session ends.

Level 1 · Attack

Attack Power — neighbor invasions

Option [1] ATTACK spends empire reserve to strike adjacent targets. Chat can type 1, an ISO code (MEX), or attack MEX to pick a specific neighbor when multiple borders are available.

Chat command reference (EN + ES)

Commands are case-insensitive. Optional leading ! is allowed on numbers and codes. Long phrases are fine — match any keyword below.

Leader instant turn (ACK window)

Same tokens as turn vote — the governor’s 1/2/3 or ATTACK/ATACAR + ISO ends the turn immediately instead of waiting for chat tally.

Any valid country message adds empire reserve to that country. Existing leaders only add reserve — typing a vacant ISO does not annex it; expand with [1] ATTACK on your turn.

Country claims

Type a country ISO in chat (ARG, MEX, flag emoji, or country name) to inject empire reserve. If you don’t lead an empire yet and the tile is vacant with a free leader slot, that same message founds your empire there. Leaders never annex by chat: their votes only add reserve, and new territory is won with [1] ATTACK on their turn (navy [3] for overseas). Lose every tile and you’re a founder again. Legacy prefixes still work in chat (JOIN, CLAIM, UNIRSE, RECLAMAR) but are not shown on the overlay.

Turn clock

Each country gets a timed turn: ~10s leader ACK (reply 1/2/3 immediately) then chat autopilot if the leader is idle. One tactical vote per user per turn on options 1/2/3.

Entropic decay (recap)

See Entropic decay above: each cycle subtracts reserve from empires that hold territory. The on-stream number is chat-injected order minus cumulative entropic decay, action spends, and inactivity penalties.

Fortification levels (per territory)

Each owned tile tracks its own defense level (1–5). Chat option [2] during that country’s turn spends empire reserve to add +1 level until max; the cost is added to your empire debit ledger and lowers net reserve on future turns (same ledger as attacks, fleet, and entropic decay). Battle formula: defender strength = empire reserve × (1 + 0.4 × (level − 1)). Fortify cost for the next level = round(max(100, reserve) × 25% × 1.35^(current level − 1)). At max level the overlay shows FORTIFY MAX — pick attack or fleet instead. Losing a tile in war resets it to level 1 for the new owner.

Inactivity & bankruptcy

If empire reserve hits zero while autopilot runs with no chat activity, penalties apply. Multi-tile empires can lose annexed territories when entropic decay clears the balance; former leaders may be locked from reclaiming the same ISO after bankruptcy release.

Chat battle mechanic

When an attack resolves, a ~10 second live battle opens. Chat 1 pushes the attacker bar; chat 2 pushes the defender. The side with more weighted tug wins the territory or holds the line.
