EntropyLog Country League ("EntropyLog," "we," "us") operates the public website and related services for live Entropy Log broadcasts (geopolitical world map, geography trivia, chat voting), stream overlays, and community engagement. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our site or interact with our streams.
1. Information we collect
- Contact form: If you submit our contact form, we may store your name, contact details (email or handle), message content, and a hashed IP address for spam prevention.
- Live chat and engagement: When you participate in YouTube Live Chat, TikTok LIVE, or other connected platforms, we process messages and commands you send publicly in chat, along with platform identifiers (e.g. channel ID, display name, profile image URL), membership/moderator flags where available, and aggregated engagement metrics (boosts, likes batches, optional paid support such as Super Chat or TikTok gifts). We do not store every routine chat message in our database; we aggregate viewer statistics and log paid-support events for rankings and audit purposes (amounts are not shown publicly on the site).
- Streamer accounts: Streamers who use the admin panel authenticate via our identity provider (e.g. Clerk). Account data is handled under that provider's privacy policy.
- Technical data: Our hosting providers may log IP addresses, user agents, and request metadata for security and performance.
2. How we use information
- Run tournaments, overlays, and real-time race mechanics driven by chat.
- Display public rankings, tournament history, and Hall of Fame–style statistics.
- Respond to contact messages and improve the service.
- Prevent abuse, spam, and fraudulent paid-support or command activity.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests (operating the service, security, analytics), contract (providing features you request), and consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies, if any).
4. Sharing with third parties
- Platform providers: YouTube/Google, Twitch, TikTok, or others when you interact through their live chat or APIs. Their policies govern data on their platforms.
- Infrastructure: Hosting, database, and authentication vendors that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information.
5. Retention
We retain contact submissions and engagement aggregates for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain tournament history, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of contact form data where applicable law allows.
